“Exposure” is a sunscreen spec ad set in a sun-bleached near-future city. Two young people move through a public space where surveillance has become ordinary. Solacé Sunscreen protects against exposure in more than one sense: UV exposure, and unwanted facial recognition (the pressure to be made legible by systems that do not understand you).

An artistic protest against crippling government control over childhood. This animated collage series addresses the gruesome story of the “Dutch childcare benefits scandal” (Toeslagenaffaire) when thousands of children were taken away from their parents in The Netherlands after a mistake in the tax database.
Based on Dutch Renaissance art. With this project, I want to express hope that the new renaissance unleashed in the digital realm today may help children regain their voices.
