DISPATCHES FROM THE BLACK HOLE
is a work of comics journalism telling the stories of seven trans teenagers living in Russia. Told in their own voices, it is a time capsule from the summer of 2026 and a snapshot of very different young people trying to build lives amid war and repression, while looking for ways out of a country that wants them to disappear.
Currently in production — all seven interview scripts are complete and locked, and the book is now in the drawing stage. Publication inquiries welcome.

is a graphic memoir/ comics journalism project about coming of age online. An excerpt from the project was published as Editor’s Pick in Solstice Literary Magazine.
FREE TO BROWSE delves into the stories of queer teens, including my transgender son, and my transgender daughter, for whom the internet has served as a crucial lifeline.
Contrary to the widespread belief that social media, online games and extensive “screen time” are detrimental, this work presents first-person accounts about how these same platforms have been indispensable for self-discovery, self-education, forging friendship and finding comfort.
LOVE OF THE MIND
is a satirical take on the most erotic part of Plato’s Symposium. This short graphic piece is both an ode to érōs and to those of us who prefer to channel that force into all sorts of gloriously nerdy pursuits.

is a graphic adaptation of one of Aesop’s classic fables.
