THE TUNNEL TREE (a fantasy study)

A young woman named Kay steps into a hollow redwood, and steps out of human time perception: both trapped and enlightened inside this ancient temporal mind, Kay is forced to choose between empathy for an individual child and understanding of the whole.

THE GREENCARD (a horror study)

After losing their GreenCard in New York, the protagonist is suddenly rendered literally invisible and untouchable to other people. Forced to “hack” life as a ghostlike trespasser, they finally meet a little girl who can see them and, noticing abuse at her home, choose to become her protecting presence — right as a message arrives that their GreenCard has been found.
